Aim:
To dye the given silk materials using acid dyestuff with the required percentage of dye.
Recipe:
Procedure:
The given silk material is weighted accurately. The dye bath is prepared by pasting the dyestuff with Acetic acid, Nacl (or) Na2So4 and water. The material is then steeped in the dye solution at 50o c. the dyeing carried for 60 minutes at 90o c.Then it is subjected for soap wash, cold wash with water and it is dried.
