Forms of Man-Made Fiber
Man Made fibers are produced in 3 types:
Filament
Staple
Tow and Filament Top
Filament:
These fibers are spun from spinneret of 350 holes or less which determined by the size of the yarn to be made.
Mono Filament - This filament is made only with single filament.
Multi Filament - This type of filaments is made of more than ne filament.
Staple:
Staple fiber is of limited and relatively short length.
Filament Tow:
An Assemble of twist free filament.
Filament Top:
An Assemble of twisted filament.
